What does it cost?

Every project is different, but these anchors give you a realistic starting point. All numbers are total installed cost — equipment and labor included.

Home Theater

Starting around $25,000

A dedicated room or living room setup with a large-screen display or projector, surround sound, and smart control. Includes mounting, calibration, and a single-app remote.

  • Display or projector + screen (85"+ or 120" projected)
  • 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system
  • Smart lighting scene + universal remote control

Whole-Home Automation

Starting around $35,000

Whole-home audio, smart lighting, motorized shades, and centralized AV control across multiple rooms. Built around a reliable backbone so everything works together.

  • Multi-room audio (2–4 zones)
  • Smart lighting and motorized shades throughout
  • Centralized control system (app + keypads)

New Construction Pre-Wire

Starting around $12,000–$20,000 per home

A complete low voltage rough-in during framing — structured cabling, AV conduit, smart home pre-wire, and network infrastructure. Done before drywall, the right time to do it right.

  • Cat6/Cat6a ethernet throughout
  • AV conduit to all rooms and outdoor locations
  • Smart home pre-wire (Lutron, Control4, Crestron-ready)
  • Security camera and access control rough-in
  • Pre-wire only — finish-out quoted per homeowner selections

Commercial Conference Room

Starting around $8,000

A professional meeting room with display, camera, speakerphone, and room control. Optimized for video calls and presentations with zero-fuss daily operation.

  • Commercial display (65"–86") with wall mount
  • HD conference camera and speakerphone
  • Simple one-touch room control

What affects cost

Room count and square footage

More zones mean more equipment, cable runs, and installation time. A single room is straightforward. Whole-home projects scale with the number of spaces covered.

Integration scope

Audio-only is simpler than full AV with lighting, shades, and security. The more systems that talk to each other, the more programming and calibration time is involved.

Retrofit vs. new construction

New builds let us run cable cleanly inside walls. Retrofits require creative routing, which adds labor. A finished basement costs more to wire than an open-stud new build.
